Night Diving Specialty
Prerequisites
Certified as a PADI Open Water Diver

Get trained by a Professional Padi Instructor at Get Wet Scuba Divers on one of the most unique diving experience known in Scuba Diving, "Night Diving" and find out why so many Scuba Divers love it so much.

Why PADI Night Diver?
When you go night diving you'll see a whole new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night.

Typically this course can be completed in two days; it includes two night dives. During this course you will gain practical skills and expert knowledge for night diving.

Skills and techniques that are taught during the PADI Night Diver course: You'll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life and see a whole different personality on marine life and how it interacts with you as you explore the Ocean.

Safety:
In addition to the obvious safety precautions you should take on any dive, night diving requires some additional care due to the increased risk involved in a low illumination environment.

1. ) Check your flashlight batteries
2. ) Ensure you have a backup light
3. ) Use descent lines whenever possible
4. ) In low-visibility conditions, maintain contact with your buddy or use a buddy line
when returning to your boat, make sure that the light you are following is coming from       the boat and not the moon.

With out learning how to night dive you will miss half of what is to be seen and half of your diving fun.
