About The Event
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
1. Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
2. Confined Water (Pool) Dives to learn basic scuba skills
3. Open Water (Ocean/Lake) Dives to use your skills and explore
Enroll in Open Water Diver Online – PADI’s eLearning option – and you can start learning right away. PADI Open Water Diver Online gives you the background information you need to dive safely and allows you to study at your own pace through an interactive computer-based program. Get started now!
Schedule:
Orientation: Feb. 1 - Thurs. - 1730 - Meeting at the Dive Shop (Taco Bell Bldg.)
Pool Session: Feb. 3 - Sat. - 0700-1400 - Training Tank
Pool Session: Feb. 4 - Sun. - 0700-1400 - Training Tank
Pool Session: Feb. 10 - Sat. - 0700-1400 - Training Tank
Certification Dives:
Laguna Beach, Shaws Cove: Feb. 11 - Sun. - 0800-1500 - 2 dives
Redondo Beach, Veterans Park: Feb. 17 - Sat. - 0800-1500 - 2 dives
